McGehee After 3 gymnastic program is open to McGehee students only. To register your child please contact Loretta Krasnow, Director of After School Enrichment, she can be contacted at (504) 382-6724 or aftercare@mcgeheeschool.com Remember student spaces are limited for each class so register early.
REGISTERPreK and K students are to wear their McGehee shorts and shirts only. It is our policy not to dress this group into leotards, because it takes away too much time from their gymnastic class and many uniforms get lost.
Ponytails must be worn on gymnastics days to avoid injuries and promote safety.
PreK students may be picked up in the Student Center at 3:25 pm. Remaining students will go to aftercare.
K students may be picked up in the Student Center at 4:05 pm. Remaining students will go to aftercare.
Pre-K and K students enjoy tumbling, balance beam, bars, wedges, obstacle course, stretching and strengthening, music and fun all done on pre-school equipment.
We encourage all Kinder Gym students to compete in the Mini-Meets at the end of each semester.
Mini-Meets are held at the end of each semester at NOLA Gymnastics 1725 Dufossat St. The McGehee girls will compete against Newman, Sacred Heart and NOLA Gymnastics.
Entry form will be sent out before the Mini-Meet or you can sign-up using our online Parent Portal registration system.
